The speed with which images are available means review and diagnosis can be made on the spot. With the breakthrough technology of the Kodak 9000, we have access to unprecedented views of patients’ oral cavities—images that are clearer, more detailed in a 3-dimensional view similar to a medical CAT scan but with markedly reduced radiation levels.

Other benefits include:

  • High-resolution images – We can view your teeth more clearly
  • Less radiation – The unit only radiates areas being treated
  • Improved patient care – We can perform a wider range of diagnoses, reducing the number of office visits, saving you time and expense.
  • Comfortable positioning – when images are taken, you will be standing in an open framework with our staff in close supervision, making the image acquisition more comfortable for you. A single scan takes only 26 seconds.

KODAK 9000 3D Imaging

Better Patient Care through Advanced Technology

At our office, we are constantly pursuing new and better ways to serve our patients. That innovation includes investing in the latest tools and technology, like 3D imaging. The Kodak 9000 3D System is designed to produce low radiation dose, high-resolution three-dimensional images, as well as panoramic images.

The recent introduction of high-resolution cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) to endodontic practices like Bala Advanced Endodontics allows 3D assessment of oral lesions, canal anatomy, root fractures, pre-surgical analysis and more. These powerful 3D images enable us to pinpoint problems easily, making diagnosis a quicker and more accurate process.
